Cute, authentic Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. Our server was super friendly and attentive. The bar area is very small so most likely you will be eating in the indoor or outdoor dining room. They serve you bread and salad with your meal, the salad was ice cold which always deadens the flavor a little bit. We ordered the calamari to start which was slightly overcooked but not to the point of complaining. I had the tortellini which I thought was really good except I didn't eat the clumps of prosciutto in top (it could have done without it as the mushrooms were really good). My husband ordered the baked scrod and said it was cooked well but liked the stuffing better at Uncle Tony's. Overall, it was good.
Food was very good. Unfortunately my meal came out cold. It was reheated. Veal could've been little bit thinner. Waitstaff was excellent.
I’m retired from the restaurant/hospitality business after 40 years. This place never ever lets me down! The owners mom is from Italy and the sweetest nicest person you will ever meet(she reminds me of my mamma) huge portions great drinks and price friendly a great value for an authentic Italian trattoria/osteria. Try it you will love it!! ❤️❤️
Nice experience, better food. Awesome service. Brandon did a great job taking care of the six in my party. We always had bread and water on the table. It took longer to get our food than I like, but that wasn't any fault of his. The place is pretty small inside and it is a bit pricy, but for a special occasion; it was great.
Went here for a late lunch/early dinner and had a pleasant experience. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Very nice people and very good food, highly recommend.
The food and wine were perfect and delicious. For starters the focaccia bread was great and even the salad was prepared perfectly. The Fried Calamari and the Fried Smelts were delicious. The Veal Parmigiana was done perfectly with the side of Ravioli. I would highly recommend this restaurant in the North End of North Providence. I must also mention that Sonya was a great server and in my opinion went above and beyond with her professionalism. We never felt rushed at all and her family is doing a great job there. I’m looking forward to returning again soon. This is definitely a must go to restaurant.
Have been to venue numerous times and your never not happy with what you order everything is fantastic unbelievable consistency. If you have never been PLEASE GO you won't be disappointed. ENJOY!!
6/30/23 7:30 pm So where to start. We walked in and everything seemed fine. The place looks clean and neat. We sat outside and ordered rice balls as an appetizer. Chicken Marsala and Linguine with Clam Sauce and a Salad that came with our Entrees. All of it was horrible. The clam sauce tasted like it was from the can and so did the Chicken Marsala. The Salad had dead leaves in it! We left it on the table and told our waitress we did not like the food. Service gets 1 star because the busboy who served our table was very polite and friendly. The waitress seemed very busy even though the place was 2/3 empty and when we got the bill and saw we were charged in full for everything even though we did not eat the entrees.. we realized the type of people running this place. Stay away!! These are the type of owners who care about money over everything else! If you have ever had authentic Italian food you will automatically realize what I am talking about immediately. We should have walked out after the rice balls but we decided to give them a chance on the entree. For that I will take the blame and pay my bill and leave but I have no idea how this place has so many stars. I 100% believe the owner is NOT Italian! No self respecting Italian restaurant owner would serve this.. on that note most restaurants will offer to comp a meal if you don’t like it or offer a discount or something to compensate. They did not and not that I wanted a discount but it’s the offer that counts. It’s shows you care about your customers which this place obviously doesn’t.
